Sergeant

Steven Rangel

On January 20, 2016 Officer and Canine Handler Steven Rangel was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Rangel has been with the Wilton Police Department since August 2005. 

Sergeant Rangel has also had the honor of being the department’s second canine handler with his partner Enzo.

Thomas Conlan

On October 5, 2015 Lt. Thomas Conlan was promoted and sworn in as Captain.  Captain Conlan has been with the Wilton Police Department since April of 2000. 

He climbed the ranks of Patrol Sergeant and Patrol Lieutenant during his career.

Lieutenant
Robert Cipolla

On October 5, 2015 Sergeant Robert Cipolla was promoted and sworn in as a Lieutenant.

Chief
Robert Crosby

On September 22, 2015 Interim Chief Robert Crosby was promoted and sworn in as Chief of Police.  Chief Crosby will be the 6th person to hold the title of Chief of Police for the Town of Wilton. 

Chief Crosby has been with the Wilton Police Department since July 1983 and has risen through the ranks from Patrol Officer, Youth Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, Detective Division Commander, Captain, and Deputy Chief. 

Chief Crosby has not only risen through the ranks but also grew up in Wilton and graduated from the Wilton Public Schools.

Eva Zimnoch

On July 2, 2015, Officer Eva Zimnoch was promoted to Detective

Detective Zimnoch has been with the Wilton Police Department since March 2005.

On May 18, 2015, Officer Arnault Baker and Anthony Cocco were promoted to Sergeant

Sergeant Baker has been with the Wilton Police Department since October 2002.  Sergeant Cocco has been with the Wilton Police Department since April 2000.

On November 2, 2014, Officer David Hartman was promoted to Sergeant

On September 19, 2013,Officer Gregg Phillipson was promoted to Sergeant
